Simultaneously with my dabbling into ultra-high-performance H and I class High Power rockets, my son and I gradually got deeper and deeper into NAR-sanctioned competition. Even with something like 13mm A motors, there is something gratifying about getting the most out of that combination that you can. Getting the most that I can out of any given field of endeavour is a concept that really strikes home with me, and since NAR competition is very much geared towards that ideal, it seemed like a natural.
