2000 Chrysler 300M

A program car, my 300M had 5,969 miles on it when I took delivery on 27-Nov-00. I got $2,400 off list, plus a generous $4,800 for my junker '91 Acclaim trade-in. Add in a $2k rebate, and I financed "only" $21k. Still, it's by far the most expensive vehicle I've ever purchased, so I'm expecting a lot for my money.

First, the numbers;

My initial driving impression; this is one bad-ass car! No, it won't hang with any of my old Road Runners in the acceleration department. Heck, not even my ol' 318 Duster. However, in the handling and braking departments, this thing is light years ahead of any old muscle car! And, it must be said, the performance numbers are not that far behind, say, a 383 Road Runner; 0 to 60 in 7.4 seconds, and the quarter-mile in 14.9 seconds @ 90 mph.
