Kind of ironic, but this one was in better shape than the black "Typewriter font" model, despite being 3 years older. And I did take a "before photo" this time:

A few scratches on the crystal, but nowhere near as many nor as deep as the black one. It cleaned up fairly well...

Full SS case, 37.5mm X 43mm X 11.5mm thick, with 17mm lugs.

And sure the mod in question is the removal of the superfluous proprietary center lugs, same as the black "Typewriter font" version. I went into some detail in that previous post, so I'll just skip right to the results:

Note that I repeated the mixed lug bars thing, with one solid OEM Swatch bar and one conventional springbar. I used a different type of springbar here, and it's showing the stress a bit more. Bit bow-legged there! Whistling...
