Yupper, seemed only fair, since I robbed the 16mm X-Long black calf strap off'n the li'l 7F39-powered watch. But, as I was never happy with the leather on the Moonie (OEM was a way, way short bracelet ), no big loss. Now, I had
tried the watch on 16mm nylon, and was underwhelmed with the result. As
I mentioned in the linked article, I wondered if a 'notched' strap a lathis'n might work. Well, the answer is..

Mind you, I cavemanned the edges of the notches by ahh.. OK, I admit it! I 'sealed' them wi' a Bic lighter! Hey 'tis Caveman Watchmaking, remember!

But,
honestly, this was meant to be a mere proof-of-concept lashup. When
your raw material is this cheap (uncle Otto's $1.89 19mm black nylon),
you can afford to experiment.
And,
I gotta say, I am most pleased with the result! If the strap were a
21mm, and the edges of the notches detailed, this would be killer! Mucho comfy compared to the leather, and..

..the nylon falls smoothly away from the hidden lugs in a way that the leather never did.
'tis me own best Personal Farkle o' the month (so far! ), I reckon.
