Whoa, now there's a case shape I haven't seen. Looks asymmetricalfrom top to bottom (i.e., 12 to 6), yes?
Oh, and is the pusher like those on Orients, to adjust the day of the week? Looks REALLY cool BTW! |

It is an unusual case shape, which was one of the main attractions, for me.

Congrats! I totally understand your buckling, I would gladly wear that beautiful babe anyday. Hope all works out good. And by the look of it seems the dial and hands were totally reworked and the case was refurbishes.

Take it with a grain of salt, as always, but I see nothing that leads me to doubt that the dial and hands are 100% original. The case may well have been touched up, but if so it was done gently and sympathetically. I mean, the caseback and overall lines of the case are still quite crisp!

. However, some observations and first impressions are in order, I think.
Even though the watch is firmly ensconced upon me wrist, I still see..

it right! The watch was wrapped in tissue paper, then overlaid in
bubblewrap, inserted into a wee ziplock bag, sandwiched between two 1/4"
slabs of closed-cell foam, a stiff cardboard shell applied over all
this, then inserted into the envelope. Opening it was akin to solving a Rubik's Cube.
S700 and the iPhone and, though it was a close thing, the Fuji won out.
While I haven't yet processed the whole lot, I did do up a special
Sneak Peek photo:
To the point that you could nearly convince me it's NOS. Still, close inspection tells me the case and bracelet have been polished, and there are
some dial and hands flaws evident under the loupe. That's OK, though,
'cause it reassures me that the watch is 100% Original, not refinished.
By a full inch, at least. So I'm wearing it on a black single-run nylon w/ gold buckle. Not sure if that's the way it'll stay, but it is expedient. 
I'm thinking this one may need leather. We'll see.
