Is Happy Day! on behalf of my Better Half. Post contains Picture(s) >>

Pam has, on several occasions, pointed out "His And Hers" watch packages to me. Trouble is, they've always been a Thumbs Down for this Watch!, to me. And that's being charitable.. most were downright URGH!, as far as I'm concerned. Smiley Still, it was obvious that she found the concept appealing. So when she waxed enthusiastic over the Alpha Sea-Master, I saw the perfect opportunity to add a WIS Insurance Policy:

It's a 21-jewel automatic, 33mm dia. x 35mm across the lugs, all stainless. I was a little worried about whether or not she'd like it.. it is quite a departure from the style of watch she normally wears. But she was definitely Is Happy Day!, and I don't blame her.. it's a very fetching little watch! The quality seems every bit as good as my gent's version, and the styling is definitely compatible:

Another big Thumbs Up for this Watch for Alpha!

Now, perhaps this will cut down my Honey-Do List... Smiley Laughing out loud! Rolling on the floor laughing my a.. off!

Have a great rest of the day, y'all!

..in my watches than she does her own. This is (was?) her main watch:

CITIZEN EU1680-82L Titanium Post about a watch containing a battery or Quartz Lady's

Neat li'l watch, actually. The solid Ti bracelet is especially nice. Besides that one she's got a Mickey Mouse watch (a new-fangled one w/ easy-change bezels in all colors of the rainbow, not a classic like mine) and a dressy Elgin Post about a watch containing a battery or Quartz ca. late-80's that she seldom wears.

So, she's no 'watch nut' by any means. Yet sometimes I'll catch her checkin' one of mine out, and she'll make a comment along the lines of "Gosh, what a great watch!" Or, more frequently a comment on the ensemble: "Gee, that watch is a perfect match for your tie!" So, it's curious.

Until you realize that she's one of those rare women who lives to please. Her neighbors, friends, kids and, yes, her husband, she's more in tune to their needs and interests than her own. She does it just 'cause she knows it'll please me, you see. Smiley

Did I mention she's a very special lady? Laughing out loud!
