Tale of a strap swap. Post contains Picture(s) >>

Mickey used to reside on a 16mm metal expansion bracelet. Looked OK, I guess, but I'm not a big fan of stretch bracelets. And it was just enough too short for my 8-1/8" wrist to make it uncomfortable when worn more than a couple of hours. The only strap I had that would fit was this 18mm Bond NATO, so I squeezed it in:

Mickey goes NATO
LORUS content! Mickey on Bond NATO

Better. All-day comfortable now, at least. But it just looked wrong. Doh!

Then it ocurred to me that I did have one 16mm strap that would be perfect:

46374G
MARATHON content! 46374G Watch, Wrist, General Purpose

Yup! The OEM black nylon strap that came with this Marathon was just what I needed. So I whipped it off and threaded Mickey up:

Mickey on US Mil Strap
LORUS content! Mickey on Watch Made in USA-issue 16mm Military or Military style inspired Watch post strap

Success! Fits me perfectly, still comfortable as can be, and now it looks right, too.

Only.. what to do about the now strapless MARATHON content!?

Marathon 46374G on NATO
A no-brainer!

Hey, we are NATO members, so I've got no problem at all with wearing a Watch Made in USA Military or Military style inspired Watch post on a NATO!

Marathon & Mickey - back sides
Stablemates

Now everyone is happy! Is Happy Day! Is Happy Day! Is Happy Day!
