Now, some of you might have already guessed where I'm going here. Wink

Sure, I took the black Tungchoy mesh..

..which I removed from the Trintec ZULU-01..

..and popped it onto the IDENT Watches by TrintecŪ NAV-01 Chrono.

The Nav-01 uses sure 'nough hex-head solid bars, vs. conventional springbars, so I was a bit skeptical if it'd fit. But, as it turns out, the screw-bars are no fatter than the average springbar, so it worked A-OK. Thumbs up!

The IDENT Watches by TrintecŪ NAV-01.

I inspected it immediately afterwards, and to my horror there was a big ol' shiny spot on the bezel. I am crying Anyway, after rantin' I am angry! and sulking Frowning and generally being bummed out Oops! for about a half-hour, it occurred to me that I should try to clean the spot, just to see what happened.

To my amazement I am confused the spot came completely off with a micro-fiber cloth and (lots!) of elbow grease. Thumbs up! WooHOO! It's a happy day, a new watch arrived Seems what happened is that the bezel actually removed some metal from the door frame! I wouldn't want to repeat it, but I can at least now say with confidence that the DLC coating as applied to the IDENT is some very tough stuff indeed! Cool

Cheers!
