Re: Reminds me, I gotta get me a chrono again... A little bird told me you've been kicking some tires in a serious way... |

Nice work! That domed crystal is a challenge for sure. (n/t) | DJM | 22 | December 02, 2012 03:46PM |
Very gratifying, coming from yourself.
{sigh} Seems I can't help but get some sort of dial reflection.
I know, I know! I really should be using a light tent... |

Huh? Besides the different bezel, I just noticed that mine has screw down pushers, which is different than yours. |

Oh, they've made *several* versions over the years... Including one early version with a slaved 12-Hour indicator at 6 o'clock. I'm still tying to figure out the rationale behind that.
BTW, I'm familiar with screwdown pushers a la Alpha, as my Racer Pearl uses them. Very nice! Smooth, positive action & plenty of thread engagement. Couldn't ask for better! |

This one is on my WIShlist for someday.... The white dial with black chrono dials. What size is that bracelet btw? 20, or 22 mm?

Re: What size is that bracelet btw? 20, or 22 mm? Forgive me, but I got to ask.
Do you actually read the posts? Or just look at the photos?

Re: Do you actually read the posts? Well, from most people I do, sometimes with very long winding posts,
with a lot of distraction of all kinds of pictures in it, I tend to get
sidetracked...

Ah! So you're holding out for "Chinese Watches For Dummies"... Wise man! It's gonna be a Blockbuster!
And don't worry, it'll be out any day now... |

Nice watch, and it just goes to show that... ... Affordable doesn't always equal HTSFD.

Re: ... Affordable doesn't always equal HTSFD. HTSFD = Hoity Toity Snobbish Fellow Disorder? |

One has GOT to have his standards. Even this hoity-toity fellow has a couple watches whose hands are short. ish.
