60's Honda road race multis

I breathlessly followed the exploits of the Honda road racers in the cycle mags of the sixties. Mike Hailwood was something of a hero to me. I built models of the bikes, and at one point I even had one of those Cycle World LP records of the Isle Of Man TT race. The track with the Honda six wailing like a banshee was my favorite..
While Hailwood was the man, he gets too much press, I think, to the detriment of the other Honda riders of the day. Therefore, the photo above depicts Kel Carruthers on the 250-4 in 1961, in Australia.
