After looking at Chris' splendid Credor, and after TicToc was so kind as to define "telemeter" for me (thanks TT!), I decided I had to have one. A telemeter that is.
But a quick check of
turned up only one watch with a Telemeter, and a

First step was to pick a victim.. err, donor watch. Has to be a chrono, or there's no point. OK, that narrows it down to two. And one of those I am not gonna mess with, so it's the c-OMEX T3 by default. Anyway, I'd been thinkin' that the T3 needed something.. maybe that something is a telemeter!
Next step, fire up the CAD and model the telemeter:
Unigraphics NX2 screen shot After exporting the file to DXF, I take a stroll downstairs to my Tom Swift Laser Marking Machine:

Laser marking is very hard to photograph.. the telemeter actually looks a lot better on-the-wrist than that pic would suggest. This one's a little better:
All in all a fun and satisfying way to spend a lunch hour.. and low-cal, too!

Thanks for lookin'!
