Given that it .....
takes me 5 tries to get it together without FOD under the crystal when I'm awake..... can't imagine how bad it would be asleep.

To encourage visits by your garden variety fairies, it is said..
..that you should leave milk and bread crumbs on the hearth of the fireplace.
With the Nac MacFeegle, however, ye'll have much better success with 12-year-old Scots whisky and a rare T-bone.

Re: damn...I'm screwed.
Maybe not.
'tis tough times we live in, and the Wee Free Men have a saying:
"When times get tough, the Nac MacFeegle get tougher! "
So don't give up hope!

West End watches have a very unique charm, very cool look.
Excellent sleepworking, too!

..it hand winds and it is a sort of loud, clicking hand wind, so don't panic!
Thing sounds like me old Westclox alarm clock when you handwind it!
Just adds to the charm, IMHO!

Re: 'tis probably a Good Thing that I don't regularly match straps to watches in me sleep...
At least the crystal looks good. Plus, it's a lot easier to change the
strap than the crystal. Very cool watch. Can I assume it's running OK?

aka known as "The Nac MacFeegle", or sometimes "The Wee Free Men".
They have many aliases, do the Nac MacFeegle!
I'm just glad I didn't wake up while they were at work..
..from what I hear, you do not want to mess wi' The Wee Free Men!

Leave it to you, Dr. Murphy, to come up with the only alternate explanation what makes any logical sense at all.
