It's 36.5mm and, despite the looks, that's a fixed bezel. It was DOA, but the no-jewels ETA module took right off upon installation a fresh 395 cell. There's no model number on the movement that I can see, nor am I sure about the DoM. But judging by the construction of the movement, with minimal plastic and a complex exposed geartrain, I reckon this one's seen a bit of water pass under the bridge. I'm guessing ca. 1985 to 1990. It definitely pre-dates the Wenger-Victorinox merger, I reckon.

That one has me wondering is the case Watch Idiot Savant of the Month watch a Wenger case and....

What is the Tom Swift water resistance rating?

I don't think so, for one reason...

..I've never seen a Wenger / Victorinox that wasn't branded on the caseback.

More likely it's some fly-by-night Chinese brand that our Esteemed WotY picked up at a drug-addled WISfest in Oakland.

JohnnyT? Rolling on the floor laughing my a.. off

Uncanny resemblance, though! Eek!
