I have the perfect watch for that strap! You should bring it to Chicago (Views: 51)
jeremd676 -- April 18, 2010 06:12PM
22 mm ?
Alas and alack, it appears I won't be able to make the Windy City GTG. (Views: 41)
Ricky Lee -- April 19, 2010 06:20AM
Several factors, but basically it boils down to the stars just not being properly aligned.
And, yes, 22mm.

I'm hung up on the brown in this one... I like the black & white part of the strap, though. (n/t) (Views: 40)

That actually fits quite nicely! I like the color combo a lot...as it
makes me think of a camper/hunter/a field ranger...definitely for
someone who enjoys the outdoors. --Angelis
Thanks mate! It's.. (Views: 35)
Ricky Lee -- April 19, 2010 06:18AM
..growing on me, I must admit.
And regardless of how it looks, this strap is one of the most comfortable I've ever encountered. Reminds me of my vintage Redwing boots in that regard.
-Ricky
IMO That strap can only go on one watch >>> (Views: 57)

Ricky Lee -- May 01, 2010 09:14PM
Seriously, if you discount the scalloped vs. sawtooth bezel, they are quite similar.
The Invicta's quite a big larger though, no? 47mm?
-Ricky
Bulova? That's BillA's territory! I clocked the Invicta in at a tad over 46mm! (n/t) (Views: 40)

That clasp design is not that uncommon Ricky. (Views: 57)
Chris L -- May 01, 2010 06:10PM
The much smaller mesh strap I have on the Vostok I've been wearing
today works the same way, but a bit smaller in scale. Has the safety
clasp that is mounted on the opposite end just like that.
I'm
thinking about getting the loose-weave "shark suit" mesh to put on my
Vostok '67 reissue. Quite a bit more than your model (and I looked
closely at that too) but I like the rougher tool-like appearance and
think it fits the spirit of my reissue Amphibia.
Yeah, I know.. (Views: 58)

That clasp design is not that uncommon..
..it's not that
unusual. Still, it's the first one I've ever owned, while I've got
maybe a half-dozen that use the similar single-action clasp (not all
are mesh).

Right.. they offer that exact style in 18, 20, and 22mm.

I
considered that one. The removable links are an intriguing design, and
guarantee that it would fit. But, aside from the extra cost ($78+ in
black ), I was afraid that it'd be too thick and heavy for the Trintec. I reckon it'd work great on the Amhibia, though!
There's also this one..
..which is quite similar in design to the Staib, which I do love. And compared to the Staib's price , it's a real bargain!
