This is also from the 2nd-try at Wal-Mart Dial Printing, and Thank you! to Bro. bjohnson for providing above-and-beyond tech (and moral) support! Thumbs up! Clapping!

Sure, I used his Doxa-esque OpenOffice dial template..

..and combined it with a full SS case, 40.5mm X 46.5mm X 12.5mm thick to the top of the gently-domed crystal.

This case was designed for a quartz, so the 1.00mm dial-stem offset was close enough to make the PC21 nest properly.

I got to say I'm leaning towards Bro. honeycutt's opinion, below. I reckon this one has the Keeper position nailed down. Laughing For the time being.. Rolling on the floor laughing my a.. off I'm fixin' to do a blue-dial -Look "More Watch For The Money", so that might well change. Crazy! Loco!

But I gotta admit, it wears grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr8! WIS Honeymoon on the Ricky Standard Combat NATO. Blushing

Cheers!

Hehe .. now look at you go
I'll be around tonight (about 10:00pm EST) if people want some hands on howto for the dial creation software in the chat room.

They should download the files from your server and have openoffice.org installed.

Great Idea! Thumbs up!

I don't really do chat Wink and, anyway, I think I've got it down now. Laughing

Still, it'd be nice if more folks were using this tool. Hint to the Forum At Large - If you're prepared to send me the requisite ODG files, I'll soon start doing custom dials to order, so it might be worth your while. Rolling on the floor laughing my a.. off

FYI I did replace dial_custom_creation.odg on my server with the updated example you sent me a couple of days back.

Great work sir and very nice crown position !!! Cheers! Cheers!Thumbs up! (n/t)

IF 124 June 19, 2010 03:42PM

Ah! You noticed. Smile
Why did I put the crown at 10?

Well.. basically because I could. LOL

But seriously, the Tom Swift Dial Feet In A Tube System® makes it easy to put the crown wherever the case demands it (or you'd like it). So if ye've got it, flaunt it, right? Winking

Looks sharp Ricky!!! Keep up the good work...I have a few that could use a dial like that...
Give me a shout out if you are interested in the work!!!!

Fantastic! - Love the case --- You know if you....
Inverted the case, slapped in a clone RR-approved dial, and some of Uncle Ottos blue leaf hands...Man, I;d be all over that in a flash - a nice RR for those days when you don;t want to use the collectibles,, Sort of like this real quick and dirty PS job..

Still, though, I think that;s your best ever, the Doxa style works a treat!

flasharry 128 June 19, 2010 02:11PM

These ARE very nice cases! Alas, I have only 2 more..
..and one of those is missing the caseback. Frowning

But, yeah, I wish I had a dozen or two cases like these. LOL

Methinks you just placed an order. Winking

Ricky Lee 123 June 19, 2010 06:32PM

I'm sure I can improve on that dial...
"PMWF Railroad Approved?

Back in a BIT.

flasharry 96 June 19, 2010 09:44PM

Probationary Train Crew Reto?

Now there's an idea.
