I found a whacking great 8 x 11 envelope in me mailbox yesterday evening marked "Hand Cancel Please" which, at first, confused me. Oops! Then I saw the Green Bay return address and it clicked. Wink Yup, the olive drab NATO from Bro. Dan Meinhardt had arrived! It's a happy day, a new watch arrived

I was fixin' to whup it on the Waving Mao, as DJM had suggrested, then I thought "Olive drab = Army. And I am not happy with the combo on the J. Brice Hébert Swiss Army." So, quicker'n a wink I had her mounted up and..

WooHOO! WIS Honeymoon Sure works for me! Thumbs up!

Sorry 'bout the skewed white balance (Parent Guided! indoor lighting! I am angry!) in these Q&D photos.. rest assured the strap is green, not tannish-brown as it appears here. Blushing

Thanks a million, Dan. I'm a big fan of NATO straps in general, and this one in particular, so I'll be swapping it onto a lot of different watches. Including the Waving Mao, I promise. Smile

I really love the olive NATO on the Swiss Army, but that Q&D photo I posted the other day just wasn't cutting it. Frowning I am crying I reckon these..

..are a modest improvement. Laughing

Would you believe this is my very first Swiss Army? Crazy! Loco! I'm pretty darned impressed with it, though, and it certainly won't be my last! Wink Seems like a good, solid wristwatch. Thumbs up!

Definite improvement, you can tell the strap is green!

And that it's just a wee bit too narrow, I tend to prefer a too wide nato vs too narrow. I love how versatile nato's are, you can easily fit a 20mm one on an 18mm lugged watch. In fact, I'm about to put a 20mm nato onto my 19mm lugged beater.
