Some of you may recall the problem, reported over on the PRMWF about a month back. Here's a refresher, for you that missed it:

Well, as luck would have it I needed a few other things from Uncle Otto anyways, so I placed an order about a week later.

I now realize why the V732 sells for roughly twice the cost of the equivalent PC-series module..

First, they're apparently sourced from Seiko COSERV themselves. Then there's that packaging! First time I've ever seen a movement ship in it's very own metal tin! And of course it IS a jeweled movement, albeit one single solitary jewel...

The swap went without a hitch, and it's mighty nice to have 'er back in service.

The specs are modest: Base metal bezel w/ snap-in SS back, 38mm X 42mm X 8mm thick, with 20mm lugs, push-pull crown, and mineral crystal.

But for a' that, I've always had a soft spot for the li'l guy. WIS Honeymoon It was, I believe, my very first orange-dialed watch. I am blushing

Now just this morning I realized that I'd never managed a decent lume photo, this pathetic attempt being the sole one. So I set out to remedy that! It may not be of DJM Quality, but here 'tis fresh out o' the camera:

Now I'm no Lume Snob. In most situations I'll happily wear a watch with no lume whatsoever. But I got to say, the lume is one of the best things about the V732-0K60! Pops well and will last all the way through the night - very nearly of sure 'nough Seiko watch quality! Indeed, at the price point it may be THE best lume I've ever encountered. thumbs up

And while ye might have seen this in today's What are you uwearing? already..
