Citizen does make a nice li'l blue-dialed ladies titanium, the model EU1680-82L:

That was my WIS insurance/Valentine's day gift for my sweety. 't was a mere US $45, including shipping! (But don't tell her! Laughing )

Here's a few more pics:

Sorry for the crappy photos. I bought the watch from Capital Mall in Singapore, and those are their Found on the Bay! pics. I really should take some photos of the Self-made Watch Stuff! laser marking I added to the watch...

In any case, she was very pleased with the piece. The service from Capital Mall was great, too. And, of course, the watch itself was typical Citizen.. IOW, very nicely finished and with quality above reproach.

Update - March, 2006

The watch is running fine, still on the original battery. Pam wears it daily, or very nearly so, and it's held up very well. The real reason for the update is that I've finally taken some photos of the custom laser-marking:

Citizen EU1680-82L

I added the laser marking prior to presenting the watch to Pam on Valentine's Day in 2005. As you can see the 'main' marking on the exterior of the clasp has held up very well:

..though the date on the inside of the clasp is starting to look a little worn. The actual color of the "PD" marking is very close to this photo - the first photo is a tad dark. The next photo shows all the laser marking:

Notice that the first part of the decication, on the left, is quite worn. If you look at the enlargement, you'll note that I also added Pam's full name, in script, to the case back. This is very worn! Indeed, there's not really any color left - it's visible only as a shadow.

This relatively high rate of wear has led me to reconsider the suitability of laser-marking for watches. In certain areas, the exterior of the clasp, for instance, it works OK. But on a case back, or other areas that will encounter skin contact and/or perspiration, I don't recommend it.

Here's one more photo of the watch:

No catalog shot, granted, but I think it's still better than the over-exposed shots from the e-Bay seller.
