The OE Watch - HMP Watch connection

Not long after purchasing the OE Watch Tourbillon I became aware of a company called HMP Watches. They're a hip-hop rap-daddy company who's claim to fame is reasonably-priced watches with a high perceived "bling bling" value. That, and a line of "Erotic Watches". Here’s a clip from their website:

Yup! They’re selling the same watch as the OE, only rebranded with the HMP name. And look at the price! Considering that I paid only $27 for the OE.. well, ‘twas 50 bucks including the shipping. Still! What a nice profit margin!

Oh, and in case you're wondering, HMP stands for "Ho's, Money, and Power".

2012-02-03 Update:

I bought these two units at the behest of several co-workers who lusted after my original.

And sold them for a hefty profit, sure.

The differences between the 2005 and 2011 versison are minimal. Pretty much the same watch! Here's what they look like on the flatbed scanner:

The "color smear" you see on the amorous li'l dude are the results of the watches being running while scanned. These movements do not hack, so once dude is started up, there's no stoppin' him.

2012-05-06 Update:

These were also obtained at the behest of co-workers.. The last pair were such a hit that they put in their orders immediately, but these units are getting quite scarce, and it took me a couple of months to source them.

They are actually quite different (see HERE and HERE for front view) being branded "Aomei" vs. "O.E.", and with an entirely different case. Then too, where the O.E. Watches have a 24-hour indicator at 9H, these have sub-seconds. But, of course, 'tis the back-panel automaton that interests me customers LOL! and here they are very much Same same.
