Nice, but here's a real GMT field watch ...........
Saw this on TZ. A military issue from Hush Puppies?

Re: I recall that one...
And even if one didn't remember the watch, that's a trademark MCV picture on the standard wood grain backdrop.

Very nice!
The hands remind me of the ones on the Orient multi-eyes. I like that watch too!

So, what are the prospects for doing a movement swap>>
a quartz movement with a 24 hour hand? Then you could utilize that 24 hour chapter.
RL, your trademark NATO is getting a little....tatty. Time for a new one? I mean, I would wear it, but a guy like you should have higher standards.

"Tatty"? Oh! Now ye've gone too far, Murphy, and deeply offended me!
Why, if it wasn't for the 20+ hour ride, I'd jump on the bike right now, and bring ye a can of home-growed whup-ass!

Honestly.. it never occurred to me. There might be a quartz GMT that could be shoe-horned in, but the case is way too thin for a mechanical.

Ah, I hear ye.
But when an XL is the smallest that will fit ye, and most times an XXL is required.. well, ye learn to make do with what ye have.

Well, you provided the photographic evidence. And as you point out, the camera is unforgiving. >>

Alas,
I have no defense. I have no ravenous hounds ready to attack, nor do I
keep adequate firepower at the ready to repel such an onslaught.
I would have to revert to hospitality, and you.
Oh, wait. I do have the secret weapon of New Yorkers: We Will Tax you, until you leave.

..after a trip like that, I wouldn't be up for much beyond a cold drink and a nap.

Cool beans, Ricky! That dial looks like translucent alabaster or some such material!
I also like the overall legibility of it and agree with you about the 24 hour ring.
That Marc is sure something, isn't he?
