..'cause I can't quite decide if this one's worth investing the sweat equity it needs.
See, my 'informally adopted son', Chris, presented me with this yesterday...
Click photos to supersize It's a Kenneth Cole and, while it's "all bracelet" style is kinda neat, it's just not me. And, obviously, the watch is a bit worse for wear. Note the applied markers that have come adrift and are floating around inside. It's been Rode Hard And Put Up Wet, and no doubt about it. I've already got too many projects, so I chunked it in the spare parts box and didn't think much more about it. Not for a couple of hours, at least. Then it occurred to me that I have a watch with 24mm lugs that's never been on a bracelet. Hmmmmm...
Yup! The orange c-OMEX Marina Militare.
I'm really diggin' the heft of the combo! The solid-link bracelet's quite substantial and, while I didn't weigh it seperately, the combo is, at 205 grams, by far my heaviest watch.
Alas, the bracelet does heve quite a lot of wabi. And I still can't quite decide about the looks. But, assuming that I still like the combo after a week or too, I just may refinish it.
What say you, ? ?
Should I refinish it?
