![]() ![]() And seriously, it hasn't happened to me but agree - a great invention.
I love my NATOs. |

![]() Thankfully, it's quite rare. I've experienced ~ maybe a half-dozen such failures, ever.

![]() I've only ever had one springbar let go (on a non-Nato too) but luckily I
caught the watch before it parted company with my wrist. Happened right
in my watchmaker's store, too!

![]() my itch for a Ronda 500-series GMT!!!
Quick question. The Ronda 515.24 manual I found on line isn't very detailed, but it describes the 24-hour hand as setting by a "quick set" feature. Does that mean the 24-hour hand is synced with the regular hour hand, but adjustable in one-hour jumps? TIA. D |

![]() Always happy to help.

Nope. The 4th-hand is infinitely adjustable, so those pesky ½-Hour Timezones are nae problemo.
It's quick-set in that when you pull the crown to the First Click, rotating it clockwise quickly advances the date, and rotating it anti-clockwise quickly advances the Fourth Hand. Now, the ![]() ![]() ![]() ..works that way. Advancing the GMT hand
in 1-hour jumps, that is. It's a great concept, which works as well in
Real Life as it does On Paper. That's one reason why it's my mostest
favorite mechanical GMT movement...
