Great pictures Ricky, thanks I have a question about the built-in compass. How reliable >>>
are the readings of it? Being so small in size and surrounded by metal, I wonder how well it could lead you to the North pole

Cool dial, and I really dig the slight dome on the crystal, devil as they are to photograph.
Oh, and excuse my misplaced post, below.

That compass is cool. And a lot simpler that the compass bezel Seiko uses on the Landmonster (n/t)

To be clear: I'd hate to trust me life to it.
But if the GPS sats were down, I do think it'd be preferable to aiming the Raketa at the sun and adjusting for DST.

Bro. dano0!
And I haven't overlooked your PM.
Grade-A full-alarm emergency at work, and I leave for Germany/Switzerland day after Memorial Day. So I'm under the gun , and my time for the PMWF has been negatively impacted.
Such is the Real World.
Just want ye to know I ain't forgot ye.

Re: Man..SwitzerlanD!!! THe country of watches!!!
Judging by the News Of Late, more like "Switzerland - the country of Suicide Tourism" .
I reckon I will have no need of that service, however.
To me, more than watches, Switzerland is "The Country of High-Precision Machine Tools".
And,
of course, that's why I'm going. Hopefully, they will live up to my
coon-ass redneck expectations. Hopefully for them, as a 3/4M $ US deal
is riding on my buy-off.

I expect a full report...
I'll try. It's gonna be pretty intense, though, so no guarantees.
FWIW, you can find a report of my last trip there.

Contrarian that I am, I may take only Chinese and Japanese watches.
Though, to be honest, leaving the Mido and the Mondaine behind may prove impossible...
Warmest regards,
-Ricky
